Designing Tangible Conversations Between People and AI
Hi, I'm Pritam. I am an interaction design practitioner and educator exploring how people understand and trust intelligent systems. My work sits at the intersection of humans, textiles, and AI, turning complex machine decisions into tangible, human experiences. I care about making technology explain itself, not through screens alone but through materials we can touch and feel. My goal is to design conversations between people and AI that feel honest, clear, and deeply human.

I shape how people experience intelligent systems, turning complex AI decisions into interfaces that feel intuitive, honest, and grounded in real human behaviour.
Years of working with yarns, knits, and surfaces now meet embedded sensing and haptic actuation, designing garments that communicate health through material, not screens.
Investigating how AI confidence and reasoning can be made tangible for people who never asked for technology, through touch, colour, compression, and embodied feedback.
Teaching interaction design at the intersection of craft and computation, mentoring students to think critically about what technology should feel like, not just what it should do.
